John Bush Wants To Do a Tour Playing Songs From His ANTHRAX Albums

"There is something cool about, well, White Noise, I guess in 2023, that would be 30 years, so you know, who knows?"

Ex-Anthrax vocalist John Bush is considering doing a solo tour consisting of material from when he was in Anthrax. Bush was in Anthrax between 1992 and 2005, and then again between 2009 and 2010. Bush sang on Sound of White Noise, Stomp 442, Volume 8 – The Threat Is Real, We've Come for You All, and The Greater of Two Evils (which was just a live in-studio retrospective album).

Bush recently said to Eonmusic he'd like to do the tour in 2023, if possible.

"There is something cool about, well, White Noise, I guess in 2023, that would be 30 years [since its release], so you know, who knows? Maybe something in conjunction with that, at that point. And White Noise came out in ’93, and We’ve Come For You All came out in 2003, so it was 10 years later, so there’s an anniversary of both of those albums, because they both fall on the same year. So, I don’t know."

Bush later added he'd like to recruit ex-Anthrax guitarist Paul Crook for the tour. Crook was the band's live guitarist between 1995 and 1998.

"I said something about wanting to do it with Paul if I did it, because I really love Paul. He’s a really great guy, he’s an amazing player, and he was involved in those couple of records. And I just like him as a person; he’s just one of the nicest guys and fun to be around."

Bush hasn't said he'd like to do his own Bush-era Anthrax hand sanitizer, but who knows. 2023 is a far way away.
