According to British newspaper, The Times, James Hetfield, frontman of Metallica, was detained at a British Airport before his appearance at London's Live Earth concert on Saturday. Hetfield rushed to Luton airport for the show at Wembley Stadium, where Metallica was due to perform; however, he was subdued by officials before he could leave the terminal. That's too bad, James.
The legendary frontman was subjected to a brief line of questioning, after which security-conscious officials were left red-faced when Hetfield explained he was a member of a world-famous rock band. Which goes to show that airport officials really are clueless.
