Bruce Dickinson truly is a God among men. Dickinson was flying his Fokker Triplane replica around when he noticed that it started to run low on fuel. So he did what any logical person would do and landed in RAF Halton, because when you're Bruce Dickinson you'll just come through everything life throws at you with flying colors.
According to the Bucks Herald, Dickinson's squadron leader applauded him.
Squadron leader Gary Coleman, officer commanding operations squadron at RAF Halton, said: “We applaud Bruce Dickinson’s decision to divert to RAF Halton rather than press to his destination with potentially low fuel. To see such a well-regarded pilot, and world-renowned rock singer, make this decision is great for our student pilots to see. It makes them realise that anyone can find themselves low on fuel due to unforeseen circumstances and that the right decision is to divert."
Just another reason why Bruce Dickinson is a perfect human being. Here's the plane too, just in case you were wondering what it looks like.
