INFECTIOUS GROOVES To Reunite For METALLICA's Orion Festival (with some help from Jim Martin of FAITH NO MORE)

2013 is turning out to be the year of the reunion, and now there's one more to add to that sweet list- Infectious Grooves.

Performing alongside the likes of Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, Deftones, Bassnectar, Dropkick Murphys, and a whole crap ton of other bands is none other than the legendary Infectious Grooves with Mr. Robert Trujillo on bass. At the very least, the reunion makes sense with Rob already being at the festival with Metallica on bass duty. Now, the one catch for this reunion is that guitarist Adam Siegel isn't available for the reunion, or whatever it is that's preventing him from being there. Instead of letting that damper their day, Infectious turned around and got Faith No More guitarist Jim Martin to deliver the tech-funk on six strings for the festival… and maybe for the future? There's no real word on exactly what the band's plans are just yet- it's a whole lot of hype about the festival and not much else. Not that the festival isn't something to get pumped as hell about in the first place! Bring on them 90s grooves!
