You might've noticed that Code Orange drummer and vocalist Jami Morgan has switched over to just being the band's vocalist. Morgan said in a recent interview that the band has a new drummer, but their identity isn't important and they're not an official member of the band yet.
“Uh, we’re not gonna say. It’s not even about who it is. The mask and the concept fits with the character in the record and with the cover art, and I like that. On top of that, we’ll see. He’s a great guy and I think he’ll continue to earn his spot, but for now he’s an empty vessel. He’s our drumming muse for now. We don’t want to be married to anyone yet. You don’t know how people are going to be ’til they are.”
Not taking much time between, MetalSucks has figured out that the new drummer is Ethan Young from Nashville’s Thirty Nights of Violence. Much like when the Internet figured out who Slipknot's new members were, it all came down to the tattoos.
Based on what Jamie said, this might not be a permanent edition, but at least we know who's who.
