We're ending 2019 with the saga of the damaged Denny's.

This all started about a week ago when it was reported hardcore band Wacko played a Denny's in Santa Ana, CA. The Denny's was damaged by the show and the restaurant sought out $1,000 from the 17-year old promoter who put the show on. The promoter set up a GoFundMe to only pay for some of the damages, because why the hell did Denny's even allow a hardcore show to happen in their establishment anyway? Of course, Denny's said they don't condone hardcore shows happening in their venue and claimed no responsibility.

Now according to Lambgoat, punk rock superstars Green Day have donated $2,000 to the Denny's to make them basically go the hell away and fix their restaurant. Which is really nice of them, but still – what kind of oversight or employee allowed a hardcore show to go on at a Denny's? This still seems the restaurant's fault.
