The Maryland-based noise/grind band, Full of Hell had a very successful 2016. They started with a four-song EP, Amber Mote in the Black Vault in January. They followed it up with a terrific collaborative album with The Body and released their live set from Roadburn this year. Recently, they were featured on a split with other grind mainstays, Nails, to round out the year. Yet, Full of Hell is not quite ready to call it quits on 2016.
The band announced on Facebook yesterday that for the remainder of the year, the quartet's proceeds from their discography on Bandcamp will be donated to The Trevor Project and Planned Parenthood. The funds will be split evenly between the two organizations. This discography includes all of their albums, with the exception of their two collaborative efforts with The Body and Merzbow. There are plenty of great and punishing albums to pick from. Full of Hell are becoming huge innovators in grind. This is a great chance to snag copies of their blistering music and give towards two great causes.
Another bit of news, the band recently finished recording their next studio album with Kurt Ballou (image above). The album should see its release in spring of 2017 through Profound Lore Records.
