Full of Hell recently suffered the theft of their van, resulting in the lost of all their gear and personal belonging. The band started a GoFundMe to raise $20,000 to get back on their feet and ended up raising closer to $38,000.
Now, Full of Hell is taking $1,099 of the excess from the fund and giving it to the Rock to the Future organization.
“We said a couple weeks ago that we’d be donating excess money to a charity. We wanted to send the money to an organization that would help bring music to youth that might not have the same opportunities as everyone else. Rock to the Future is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 2010 that provides music education for Philadelphia’s youth from underserved neighborhoods and under-resourced schools at no cost to them or their families. Using music, our programs ignite passion and creativity, support academic achievement, and improve self-esteem. We empower individuals and strengthen communities.”
