Former W.A.S.P. Guitarist Chris Holmes' New Music Video is The Best Worst Thing You'll See Today

You HAVE TO see this!

You HAVE TO see this!

You might remember Chris Holmes as the former guitarist of W.A.S.P., or perhaps from his infamous scene in the documentary Decline of Western Civilization Part II. Perhaps you remember his hilarious listing of a barely functioning '87 Firebird for $1500 or that time he said that black culture ruined heavy metal.

Holmes recently moved to France, but that hasn't stopped him from making new music. In fact, he just released a new music video which is one of the most innovative metal music videos of all time. Watch the video and then I will chronicle all the firsts seen in this piece of cinematic history:

 • The first metal music video to feature the frontman sitting comfortably in his private den, sipping coffee and biting down on Stella D’oro breadsticks. (0:45)
 • The first music video to feature a frontman lip syncing with food in his mouth.
 • The first metal music video to feature the frontman casually feeding his dog left-over drumsticks (1:01)
 • The first metal music video to feature the frontman casually enjoying some soft-serve ice cream (1:18)
 • Definitely NOT the first metal music video to feature a guitar performance where it’s clear the guitar is not plugged into anything at all, thus it’s not really making a sound.
 • The first metal music video to nonironically feature a frontman rocking out in front of a cotton candy store. (1:45)
 • The first metal music video to feature featuring ongoing shots of the aggressive phase "Fuck Off" while also cutting to serene French landscapes and villas.
 • The first metal music video to feature a frontman struggling to get bait on a fishing pole (3:05)
 • The first metal music video to feature the amazingly poetic lyric "We want it louder, More power. You betta run from it baby just to get ready for a decibel shower." What?! (3:20)

I feel at this point there is no point in debating what the best music video of the year would be, because this is clearly it. We can debate on who is second best from this point on.
