With The Dead sounds like it's going to be the ultimate doom group this year! The band consists of ex-Electric Wizard guitarist/bassist Tim Bagshaw and drummer Mark Greening, as well as ex-Cathedral vocalist Lee Dorrian fronting the whole ordeal. I guess this is what Greening is doing when he isn't potentially being screwed over by Electric Wizard?
Regardless, the group will be dropping its debut self-titled effort on October 16 via Rise Above Records. Considering that that's pretty close to now, I'd assume we'll hear a track from the effort pretty soon? It's worth noting the whole album is only six songs long as well, so I'd expect each track to be a fairly lengthy odyssey through the lands of doom… or maybe one track will be and the rest will be shorter.
