Foo Fighters recently announced they'd canceled all their tour dates in the wake of drummer Taylor Hawkins' death. Now Rolling Stone is reporting that Foo Fighters has (predictably and understandably) also canceled their appearance at the GRAMMY award show happening this Sunday, April 3.

Foo Fighters is nominated for “Making a Fire” in the Best Rock Performance category, “Waiting on a War” in the Best Rock Song category, and Medicine At Midnight in the Best Rock Album category.

"It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins," said the band upon canceling their tour dates. "We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together."

Hawkins impressive résumé over the years included drumming for Foo Fighters from 1997 to present day, as well as forming his own bands like Taylor Hawkins And The Coattail Riders and NHC featuring Jane's Addiction members Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney. Hawkins also drummed on Coheed & Cambria's 2006 album Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two, and his own solo EP Kota in 2016.
