Last we heard from ex-Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile was about 24 seconds of a piano song he was working on. It wasn't much to go off of at the time, so naturally we just assumed it wasn't anything heavy. Now Carlile has posted a little more of a new project that may or may not be related to the piano one, and it's about ten thousand times heavier.
Much like the last teaser, Carlile divulged no information, though he does appear to be in either a studio or a home studio. This would Carlile's first heavy effort since his final album with Of Mice & Men in 2016. As a brief update on Carlile's battle with Marfan syndrome, his last post regarding his health was on August 24 showing his successful spinal surgery.

Have had this procedure 2x on spine. 1st time put me completely under. 2nd I did it w/ no anaesthesia but low meds. Today was the 1st time doing it underneath skull through base of neck. The "CRUNCH" & "CRACK" of tissue/muscle as needle forced through nearly made me call it ? pic.twitter.com/N4DGLPC0Ua
