The ongoing custody battle between Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and The Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle continued in a Los Angeles court yesterday with Dalle pleading not guilty to contempt after being accused by Homme of violating their custody agreement.
Last month, we reported Homme's two sons attempted and failed, to get a temporary restraining order against their father, citing emotional and physical abuse. Homme's 15-year-old daughter, Camille, was able to get a temporary restraining order granted against her father shortly after.
Rolling Stone was at the court and reported that Homme is accusing Dalle of "alienating" him from his children and he wants her to face fines, community service or jail time.
According to Rolling Stone, the judge in the case said he was leaning towards appointing "around-the-clock monitoring in each parent’s home to evaluate the situation, starting on Friday, October 15th, when Homme is due to resume his custodial time with the couple’s two sons, ages 10 and 5."
Rolling Stone got a comment from Dalle where she stated she just wanted her kids to be safe. “That’s all I’m asking for, that my kids are safe. We have to protect kids. We should always protect kids.”
Homme also offered a comment while leaving the courthouse saying “That’s all I’m asking for, that my kids are safe. We have to protect kids. We should always protect kids.”
