Gene Simmons Doesn't Regret Trying To Trademark The Devil Horns

Gene Simmons does not hide how he really feels.

2017 has been insane for a number of reasons, one of which being Kiss' Gene Simmons trying to trademark the iconic "devil horns" gesture. Simmons filed for the trademark back in June, and submitted a photo of the gesture being done incorrectly.

Wendy Dio and Sharon Osbourne both called Simmons out for being ridiculous, and eventually Simmons very quietly dropped the application. Of course, before he dropped it, he also said he invented synchronized stage moves and that his gesture was a tribute to Spiderman.

Now in an interview with Windsor Star, Simmons very arrogantly comes out and says he regrets nothing about his decision to try and trademark the gesture. You'll see what I mean when you get to the very bottom of the quote.

I regret nothing. Wake up every morning and let your conscience be your guide.

Did you know I own the money bag logo? The dollar sign with the bag of money. I own all kinds of things. I own 'motion pictures' as a trademark. Anyone who thinks that’s silly — the silliest thing I’ve ever done is wear more makeup and higher heels than your mommy. People said, ‘You can’t do that.’

Actually, bitch — I can. I can do anything I want to do.

I mean, anyone can do whatever they want, but it doesn't mean you won't look like a bit of an asshole doing it.

Just as a bit of trivia, the moneybag trademark has been well-documented, but I can't seem to find anything on the "motion pictures" trademark. He seems to own quite a few motion pictures companies, but not the actual set of two words themselves.
