Ex-GUNS N' ROSES Keyboardist Says Axl Owes Him $163,000

For those not keeping track of the parade of members Guns N' Roses has had over the years, here's what you need to know. Chris Pitman was the band's secondary keyboardist, secondary bassist, and occasional guitarist and percussionist. Pitman performed on "Oh My God" in 1999 and played on every song on Chinese Democracy.

In 2011, Axl Rose promised to pay Pitman $120,000 for his services by October 2012 via a promissory note, and Pitman claims Rose has not yet coughed up the money. Pitman says with interest, Rose now owes him $163,000. Sure, Rose has the money now considering how well the tour is going, but isn't four years a long time to not have $120,000 in your pocket? Maybe this legal battle has been boiling under the surface for a while now, but still… four years!

Oh, and Pitman was replaced by keyboardist Melissa Reese, for anyone wondering.
