Everyone's favorite (insert genre argument here) band Deafheaven is in the studio recording the follow up record to 2013's critically acclaimed Sunbather! According to Facebook:
The group has made it pretty known that it doesn't intend to repeat Sunbather's tone whatsoever, so who knows where the release is going to go? 2011's Roads to Judah put the group on a lot of black metal fans radars, 2013's Sunbather changed the game completely and now with 2015's currently untitled record on the horizon, the game could be completely changed again. I hope they stick to the romantic sound of Sunbather in a very loose way, but expand on it a lot more and maybe even get a little more diverse with the sound the group has come to be known for.
