Foo Fighters released their newest album Medicine At Midnight in February, and then a half live album/half Bee Gees cover album called Hail Satin in July. So where do you go from there? According to Foo Fighters guitarist and vocalist Dave Grohl, maybe a progressive rock album.
Grohl said in an interview with Rolling Stones that there are "vague ideas about the Foo Fighters’ next album," though nothing has been written. Still, Grohl comments that "Every album that we've made is a response to the one we made before. So now there are whispers of making an insane prog-rock record."
Considering the talent of everyone in Foo Fighters, and who they know, I'm sure an "insane prog-rock record" isn't at all out of the question. Not to mention Grohl has the voice for it! Check out the full conversation here.
