Anyone who still thinks metalheads are hard-hearted, clearly don't pay enough attention. More and more often, charity work is a cornerstone for bands and metalheads alike.

In 2019, Ken Burke of Burkeville Productions teamed up with 11 heavy metal bands from Germany, Australia, Mexico and the United States and created a 38-minute documentary that looks at the lighter side of heavy metal music while visiting and performing at different children’s hospitals around Cuba.

Now, two years after the initial recording, the Cuban economy is struggling even more, as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to decimate their most important industry: tourism. In order to raise awareness for those living in poverty in Cuba, Burke has released the documentary for streaming by donation online HERE. All the money raised by this will be used to help the Cuban children.

“If you are able to help in any way it would make a difference in people's lives who are really struggling for basic needs," says Burke.

Bands featured in the documentary are:
All Will Know (Darmstadt, Germany)
Coatl (Los Angeles, USA)
IRA (Mexico City, Mexico / USA)
Jeremy Harris (Perth, Australia)
Mephisto (Holguín, Cuba)
Precipitation (Babenhausen, Germany)
Pro-Fe-Cia (Los Angeles, USA / Mexico)
Savanth (San Luis Potosí, Mexico)
Tendencia (Pinar Del Rio, Cuba)
