After being on a record label their entire career, Cryptopsy decided to man their ship solo back in 2012. So it should come as no shock that the band has just announced they are ready with new material, and would like your help to get it out.
Their plan is to release a series of EPs titled The Book Of Suffering, and use a crowd funding campaign to have their vision fully realized. Their $20,000 goal will fund the recording, mixing, mastering, artwork creation, as well as produce a music video, and stage enhancements for the tour to follow. That seems very reasonable, but the perks are where things get really interesting!
