Usually I'm being a dick with that kind of headline, but that isn't the case when talking about Chelsea Grin guitarist Dan Jones. Dude is actually really intelligent and won't be touring with the group this summer because he's doing scientific research. So sayeth his Twitter account, anyway.
The bad news: I will not be on tour with @ChelseaGrinUT for the remainder of the year (due to the good news).

Hey, good for him! Congratulations! At least this isn't like, "Chelsea Grin guitarists sits out tour to do lots of drugs and be an asshole to homeless people" or something. Plus it's awesome to see that Jones is not only successful in the music world, because you just need to face the fact that people like Chelsea Grin, but he's also doing well in his field.
I wonder who will replace him?
