Just like yesterday with that ridiculous Sworn In story about model trains, I can't possibly make this stuff up. The pre-orders for Carcass' Surgical Steel really will come with first aid equipment.
So the German Nuclear Blast site is showing a Carcass pre-order that's limited to 666 box sets… with gauze, bandaids, scissors, and some other stuff I can't really see all that well.
Not to mention it comes in a kickass looking metal box that has the band's name etched into it with a killer logo! Everyone else, take note; this is how you do pre-order bonuses. Now I wonder if the label will be releasing that set in other countries, or if it's a Euro-thing? I mean, there's far more dangerous stuff to order on the Internet, so I'd assume it'd be fine.
Man, to think I was going to do this story only on the limited edition "Captive Bolt Pistol" vinyl the band are putting out on August 9 with the one of the album's few b-side "Intensive Battery Brooding." It's been a cool year for pre-orders though, one of which comes to mind the Amon Amarth pre-order with the Loki statue and box set!
