Hi, what are you looking for?

Bummer Alert

You'll Never Hear The Second CONTROL DENIED (DEATH, Etc.) Album

That kinda sucks.

That kinda sucks.

In 1999, Control Denied released The Fragile Art Of Existence. The band consisted of guitarist and vocalist Chuck Schuldiner (Death), guitarist Shannon Hamm (ex-Death), bassist Steve DiGiorgio (ex-Death, Testament, Charred Walls of the Damned), drummer Richard Christy (ex-Death, ex-Iced EarthCharred Walls of the Damned), and vocalist Tim Aymar (Pharaoh). Control Denied was working on a follow-up album, but the process came to a definitive halt when Schuldiner unfortunately passed away in 2001.

For years and years, there's been talk of the second Control Denied album. In 2012 it was said that the album would see the light of day at some point, but a recent comment from Death's Facebook page says otherwise. The "E" commenting on behalf of Death is Death estate owner Eric Grief, who also has the rights to the second Control Denied album, and Jim Morris is the owner of Morrisound Studios.

So yeah, that sucks, but do you really want a half-assed Control Denied album that isn't what Chuck intended? I'd rather it be left as a mysterious question mark than have something done "the way Chuck probably would've wanted."
