Vinnie Paul Still DEFINITELY NOT Into A PANTERA Reunion

He compares his relationship with Phil Anselmo to a bitter split with an ex-wife.

Yesterday, I posted a live bootleg from a recent Black Label Society show of Pantera's Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown hopping up on stage to do a great version of "I'm Broken" adding it was probably as close to a Pantera reunion as you would ever get. Apparently, all these jams recently reignited interest in a potential Pantera reunion with Wylde on guitar, so much so that it got back to Vinnie Paul.

A new blip from Vinnie Paul today confirms my suspicions. Paul was asked by Revolver about the possibility of a reunion, and just like the last 50 times he was asked, he was not into it, putting it bluntly:

“If you had an ex-wife, and it was a pretty bitter split, you might not ever want to talk to her again. Who cares if everybody in the family and your friends want you to say hello again? It’s your choice whether you want to do it or not. And I think a lot of people are selfish. They say, ‘Oh, he oughtta just kiss and make up with Phil and everything will be cool. And then they can go get Zakk Wylde and everything’s gonna be great.’ No, everything’s not gonna be great.”

Previously, Paul has said he was not interested, it would never happen, and "Dime was Pantera. So, let it go people. It ain't happening.
