OF MICE & MEN Frontman Austin Carlile Recovering From "Gnarly" Spider Bite

Austin Carlile just can't catch a break. A few weeks ago, he posted a heartbreaking series of tweets revealing that he has Marafan syndrome, a genetic disorder affecting the body’s connective tissue, causing Carlile to be susceptible to sickness at any point. Carlile said that he "would never get better."

And he wasn't kidding. Today, Carlile revealed in a tweet that he recently got bit by a spider and it was "gnarly."

I can't help but instantly think to Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman and the spider bite he suffered, which set off a series of events leading to his passing.

It seems like Carlile is in good sprits and will likely recover. We're hoping for the best.
