Hollard joined Judas Priest in 1979 and played on some of their most classic albums

Spanish newspaper El Progreso report that former Judas Priest drummer Dave Holland passed away at the age of 69. He died last Tuesday, January 16th at Hospital Universitario Lucus Augusti in Lugo, Spain.

The cause of death hasn't been revealed, however, the body was already cremated.

Holland was living in a secluded area of Northwest Spain at the time of his death, after serving time in British jail for the attempted rape of a teenage boy. Holland, who maintained his innocence to his death, was charged with trying to rape a special needs child while giving drum lessons. The boy revealed the abuse in a letter to his parents.

Hollard joined Judas Priest in 1979 and played on some of their most classic albums including British Steel (1980), Point Of Entry (1981), Screaming For Vengeance (1982), Defenders Of The Faith (1984), Turbo (1986), and Ram It Down (1988).
