DEVICE Drop Off Tour So David Draiman Can Be With His Newborn Son

Bad news (we think): Device have dropped off their upcoming European tour with Avenged Sevenfold and Five Finger Death Punch so that David Draiman can stay home with his newborn son.

Yesterday, the Device/Disturbed vocalist and CAPS LOCK connoisseur took to Facebook to explain his decision to drop off the tour:

My brothers and sisters my blood,

After careful consideration, I've decided to stay at home where I am needed most right now, with my family and newborn son, and not support Avenged Sevenfold with Device on their current November-December run. I want to thank my brothers in Avenged Sevenfold for the opportunity, for their friendship, and their understanding, and I look forward to seeing all of you again sometime in the future.

Sincerely, and with my deepest respect,

David Draiman

You can't really blame the guy for not wanting to tour right now, considering his son was born just a couple months ago. Another interesting note is the fact that he seems to have found his caps lock key, and has decided to stop shouting at everyone. So, that's always a plus.

The tour begins today in Finland and will end in England in early December.
