The last time we heard from the camp of tragically injured Deftones bassist Chi Cheng, he was set to leave the hospital after three years of on-the-clock care. Cheng was in there after a horrific car accident left him paralyzed and in a coma. We hadn't heard any updates about Cheng until this weekend when the author of oneloveforchi.com, Gina posted this update:

As I was writing this post, I checked in on the site once again, and there is a new update, assuring us that Chi is doing better after the weekend:
hey one love fam,
just wanted to let you know chi is making small improvements and showing us once again how truly strong he is.
the family is very grateful for your never ending love and support. your love has carried them thru so much. ❤
Our thoughts are with Chi and we hope he can get through this hurdle. This isn't the first time he's battled pneumonia, as his immune system is quite weak.
