Multiple reports have come in that Black Tusk bassist Jonathan Athon and his girlfriend, Emily Boutwell, were in a serious accident last night in Savannah, GA. The couple were riding on their motorcycle when they hit an SUV that was crossing the street. Update: According to reports from friends, Athon has tragically passed away.
Local news station WTOC reports it is unknown who is responsible for the accident. Athon's girlfriend escaped without any injuries. Athon was not as lucky. He's currently in critical condition at a local hospital.
Black Tusked posted a message on their Facebook page saying that Athon is in a medically induced coma:
