The Sword recently released their new album Used Future and have been touring their asses off in support of it. The band has a few dates lined up in the U.S. for the end of September and a few after that in Australia, but now they're only doing the U.S. portion of the tour, and then calling it quits (for now).
The Sword has taken to Facebook to announced they've cancelled their Australian tour dates and will go on hiatus after the U.S. portion of their tour.
After 15 years of nonstop recording and touring, The Sword will take a hiatus following their U.S shows at the beginning of October. The Australian tour scheduled for the end of October has been cancelled. The band apologizes to their Australian fans, but feel it is time for a breather.
So maybe try to catch The Sword at one of the dates below. Who knows when they'll be back, or what even caused the hiatus.
