The Damned Things, the band (we think) featuring Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley, Shiner bassist Josh Newton, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley, is now down one guitarist. According to the man himself, ex-Anthrax guitarist and current Volbeat guitarist Rob Caggiano is no longer with The Damned Things and hasn't "spoken to those dudes in a bit." Caggiano also adds he has no idea who's in the band currently, so for all we know that lineup at the top might not be accurate anymore.
Caggiano does say that he's proud of the work he did with the band prior to his departure and says playing with the group was a "blast." The Damned Things presumably have a new record either in the works or done, as far as we can tell, which will be their followup to their 2010 album Ironiclast.
I guess we'll know more about their lineup when they hit the stage at Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville, FL on May 4.
