GWAR has one less beefcake, specfically Beefcake The Mighty, or the musician portraying the character, Jamison Land.
Land posted on his Facebook page that he landed a gig and wanted to spend more time with family:
“I’ve parted ways with GWAR. I’m back in KY to spend more time with family and to focus on my driving career. Thank you to all my awesome fans and friends for the past 8 years of support.”
MetalSucks notes that Land is currently a school bus driver and also lists tour bust driver as one of his professions on his personal page.
Land follows Todd Evans, Casey Orr and Michael Bishop in playing the character. Bishop of course currently portrays Gwar vocalist Blothar.
GWAR have yet to comment on the departure.
