Born of Osiris aren't joking around with churning out the new records! With their Tomorrow We Die Alive album coming out last year, the band's guitarist Lee McKinney posted on his Instagram the band is already "hard at work on [the] record and [are] making huge progress." Late last year we even posted up a few clips of the band showing off a few riffs, though there's no telling if those will be included on the record or not.
Now here's where things get a little interesting. McKinney also announced he'll be releasing a side-project electronica album under the name Dimir. With fans complaining Tomorrow We Die Alive was "too electronica-based" and all that, I have to wonder if Dimir is a separate outlet for stuff like that and if Born of Osiris will go back to the more progressive stylings of The Discovery? It could just be that McKinney wanted to do this because he wanted to and it has no bearing on the new stuff at all, so I guess time will tell.
