BLASTFEST 2017 Cancelled Due To Low Ticket Sales, Host Company Dissolved

The festival was going to feature Katatonia, Marduk, Devin Townsend Project, Dying Fetus, and more.

Blastfest was supposed to be held between February 22 and 25 in Bergen, Norway, and would've been the fourth annual appearance of the festival. Unfortunately, the festival has been cancelled due to low ticket sales. The festival was supposed to feature acts such as Scour, Dying Fetus, Katatonia, Marduk, Leprous, Devin Townsend Project, Between The Buried and Me, and more.

BLASTFEST 2017 IS CANCELLED
Blastfest has though several years pleased Metal and Hardrock fans abdroad and domestic. The festival was arranged first year in 2014. Great names has been presented, first and foremost for the local Bergen audience, but also for a number of guests from abroad.

Blastfest AS has tried to continue arranging the festival, but du to low ticketsales and low forecasts for ticketsale, the board of the company, with regrets, has found it correct to cancel the festival. The company has been delivered to The Bergen Tingrett for dissolution of the company.
