BEHEMOTH's Nergal Wants To Do Another ME AND THAT MAN Record In 2020

Without that man, though.

Without that man, though.

Behemoth frontman Nergal debuted his folk country project Me And That Man in 2017 with their debut album Songs of Love and Death. Since then, collaborator John Porter has quit, so it's a little more "Me" and a little less "That Man" these days.

Despite one half of the project being gone, Nergal tells Kerrang! that he's working on a second record that he's hoping to have out sometime in 2020.

“I’m definitely gonna do some sessions with Me And That Man, my other project, we’re in a stage of writing new music, so let’s see how it goes. I’m planning on having the record out next year. It’s taking time, I’m not rushing.”

As far as why Porter exited the group, Nergal only said in 2018 that "it wasn’t the easiest collaboration in my life." No word on who his replacement will be, if he'll have a replacement at all.
