Yesterday, MetalSucks released a report detailing court filings where Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext was accused by his former girlfriend, fitness model and personal trainer Whitney Johns, of assault. Vext has now made a public statement saying the allegations are not true.
Vext released an official statement saying “The allegations made against me by my former girlfriend are not true. Given the ongoing civil dispute between us, I am not at liberty to say any more at this time. I look forward to resolving this matter in court.”
You can see the full report on MetalSucks where Johns is accusing Vext of four different instances of assault, including being struck in the face leading to bleeding and being put in a chokehold. MetalSucks writes that the court filing includes "time-stamped photographs of Johns’ injuries" as well as threatening emails from Vext. A court hearing is scheduled for today, Wednesday, December 9th.
Vext has publicly commented on Twitter as well, calling the story fake news.
