We Came As Romans tragically lost their 28-year old lead singer Kyle Pavone this August due to a suspected accidental overdose. Since then, the band and Pavone's family have launched the Kyle Pavone Foundation, which is "a promise to serve and advocate for the musician community in their time of greatest need, providing hope and a means to carry on."
In addition to the foundation, We Came As Romans recently announced a benefit show for Pavone on October 28 at the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan titled "Promise Me." Now it's been revealed that frontmen Jake Luhrs of August Burns Red, Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire and Eric Vanlerberghe of I Prevail will front the band at the show. We Came As Romans will also be joined by members of Born Of Osiris, For Today and producer Nick Sampson. The press release also says "Additionally, some of Pavone's favorite electronic artists and DJs will participate in the show, which will feature over-the-top production, dynamic lighting and video, and special effects!"
