ARCH ENEMY Frontwoman Announces Solo Album, Featuring KAMELOT And MISFITS Members

Arch Enemy frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz, who you might also know as the former frontwoman of The Agonist, is launching her first solo album under the moniker Alissa. The project has already been signed to Napalm Records and will be releasing a currently untitled album at some point in 2017.

What's interesting is that Alissa's backing band for the album will consist of both past and present members of Arch Enemy, members of Kamelot, and her significant other, Misfits guitarist Doyle Von Frankenstein. Ex-Arch Enemy frontwoman Angela Gossow is managing Alissa, so maybe she'll make some appearances on the album too? Sounds promising.

The press release for the album and project makes mention of clean vocals a few times like it's something new, but I'm not really sure that's such a big deal. White-Gluz did plenty of that in The Agonist. For example…
