The good news for 1349 fans? The band's black metal opus, Demonoir is currently streaming over at SteroGum in it's entirety. The album comes out next Tuesday, 4/27. The bad news? Due to the Icelandic volcano erruption the band is having a hard time trying to get into the states for their tour with Cannibal Corpse and will have to cancel on the first few dates. Here is the official statement from the band:
Due to flight bans throughout parts of Europe on account of the Icelandic volcanic eruption, Norway’s 1349 has been forced to cancel tonight’s planned performance with Cannibal Corpse and Skeletonwitch in Orlando, Fla. It is currently unclear when the band, whose new album Demonoir will be released Apr. 27, will be able to reschedule their flights to the U.S. to join the tour. More information will be released as soon as it becomes available. Both Prosthetic and 1349apologize for any inconvenience.
