At the very end of last year, a new international death metal collective called Coma Cluster Void took the metal world by storm with merely a handful of demos and samples. While some were quick to denounce them as a gimmick of sorts due to the 10-string guitar played by band founder and composer John Strieder, their music is definitely forward-thinking and experimental stuff. Lost amidst the hype, few people were made aware of John Strieder's status as an accomplished modern composer, whose friend Sylvia Hinz, a fellow contemporary classical musician, also plays bass guitar with him in Coma Cluster Void. Rounding them out is none other than the legendary Mike Disalvo (Cryptopsy) on vocals, drummer Chris Burrows (Thoren), and finally, a new second vocalist named Austin Taylor (Dimensionless) who has stepped in as a replacement for Will Smith (Artificial Brain/Buckshot Facelift) who left Coma Cluster Void some time ago. Now that a bit of backstory and line-up update has been covered, we are proud to bring you an exclusive new glimpse into their upcoming debut full-length entitled Mind Cemeteries.

The video above features in-studio recording footage from each member, and ends on a strong note with a dark and crushing segment from a song called "Path of Lies". Mind Cemeteries is shaping up to be one hell of a dark and strange death metal record. A release date has yet to be announced, but that information should be coming soon enough from what I was told.
