Weite, the new band featuring Nicholas DiSalvo (Elder, Delving), Michael Risberg (Elder), Ingwer Boysen (High Fighter) and Ben Lubin (Lawns), is finally streaming their debut single "Neuland". If you've been following Elder as of late, or just picked up on the fact that DiSalvo is clearly into krautrock, this single should come as no surprise.
"'Neuland' was the last song we wrote on this short and intense session, finalized on the day before we started recording," said Weite. "It captures the atmosphere and the energy of a week of experimentation that started with us having no idea what lies ahead. 'Neuland' sounds like a dream from which you wake up and are unsure whether you are awake or still dreaming."
Weite will release Assemblage digitally on June 30 and physically on July 14. Pre-orders are available here, and you can catch Weite at one of their (mostly) German shows below.
