Ulver went full-on "doom dance" with their 2017 record The Assassination of Julius Caesar and haven't looked back. Ulver will release their next foray into the genre titled Flowers of Evil on August 28, and are streaming the new single "Nostalgia" right now. Unsurprisingly it, like each of the album's previous singles "Little Boy" and "Russian Doll," is awesome.
Alongside the new album comes Wolves Evolve: The Ulver Story, a 336-page book chronicling the band's history. The book includes 150 pages of conversation with the band, conducted and framed by the undersigned, alongside textual detours by Phil Alexander, Nile Bowie and Torolf Kroglund, and a wealth of photographs from the private archives of the band and others.
Pre-order Flowers of Evil here from the band's U.S. store, and both the album and the book from their European store here.
