The band's name is Ugly and the song is called "Dirt." If there's ever been more of a signal that a song is about to be filthy, grimy noise rock, I'm not sure I've seen it.
"This tune is about a megalomaniac who thrives on exploiting others and holding down those who unwittingly are cast in their often deceptive net," said Ugly of the single. "It is horrifying to know that these types of individuals aren't just characters written into the pages of novels. They are the bosses, the overseers, the fathers and the fixers of the world and exploitation gives them meaning."
Ugly will release their new record Autograph on May 5. Pre-orders via Satanik Royalty are available here, and here through the band's own Bandcamp.
