We've been following Tyr's career over a decade now, and for good reason. Despite all the interest and copy cats of the viking culture within heavy metal over the years, Tyr remains to be one of the only bands of their kind to walk the walk, from one of the most remote parts of the world, The Faroe Islands.
Much like their homeland, the band continues to adapt to newer influence while retaining their signature sound that makes them unique in their own sub-genre. 20 years later, the band is about to release their 8th full length to the world, and they are still the horn raising, chant-along good time they've always been, in a shiny new package called, Hel.
