The Lurking Fear, which features frontman Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates, ex-Lock Up), guitarists Jonas Stålhammar (God Macabre, Crippled Black Phoenix) and Fredrik Wallenberg (Skitsystem), bassist Andreas Axelson (ex-Edge Of Sanity, ex-Marduk), and drummer Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates, The Haunted), will release its debut album Out Of The Voiceless Grave on August 11, and it's shaping up to be totally badass.
The band's new song "The Starving Gods of Old" is a battering ram of death metal that kicks right you right in the teeth, and continues to pummel you until there's nothing left. Not to mention the groove around the 2 minute mark is just really, really badass.
