SYSTEM OF A DOWN's Serj Tankian Shares Spastic Unreleased Early Demo "Industrialized Overload"

Featuring an upright bass and a ton of weird electronics.

System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian recently said he's pretty much over doing vocals and wants to concentrate more on instrumental music. This statement comes about two months after possibly collaborating with System Of A Down drummer John Dolmayan on his These Grey Men project, so who knows if he's really done with vocals or just wants to do way less of it.

Either way, Tankian is now surprising fans with a free solo track called "Industrialized Overload," which is an older track of his that sounds like it could've been a System Of A Down song. Obviously way heavier and with different instrumentation, but the bones are definitely there!

Here's what Tankian had to say about the track, and you can download it for free on his site now.

"Dear Friends,

I just wanted to sincerely thank you all for an incredible year. The responses to our "Intent to Destroy" and "Furious-The Legend of Kolovrat" soundtracks, customized guitar and new jewelry collection have been incredibly overwhelming and encouraging. In the coming months we will also be announcing a new Armenian coffee line called Kavat Coffee, so that you can all become experts at ancient fortune telling by the reading of cups :) I wish you all Happy Holidays and hope the coming year brings us all closer to our visions, dreams and goals.

As a token of my appreciation, I have picked a track from my early works called "Industrialized Overload" for FREE download via the button below. It will be available to download through December 31, 2017. Use the password "holiday" to unlock the download. This track actually disturbs my own normal brain patterns so consider this a gift and a warning ⚠️.

Much love Serj"
