Pray For Sound, the Boston-based instrumental outfit, have announced their new album, Waves. It will be released November 8. Premiering the band's new song "All The Days" is gratifying in that I'm giving you all this awesome new song, and doubly rewarding in that I got to jam it on repeat for the past day.
Guitarist Bruce Malley says the new song is an overture for the record's overall sound.
"'All The Days' is the overture for the record – a high energy jam that incorporates all the sonic elements we use throughout the record in a concise way. It sets the tone and mood for the rest of the album; something that's fun and uplifting wrapped in a guitar driven rock song."
Malley adds he hopes people listen to Waves and feel a little better than they did before.
"We want people to take away hope and happiness from this record. We don’t want them to feel sadness and despair as is customary with much post-rock or instrumental music. We try to convey something positive."
