Power Trip may only have two full-length albums out, but they've got quite a bit of material floating around besides those two records. The band has now taken all that extraneous music and compiled it into an LP called Opening Fire: 2008-2014, which you can stream in full below. The compilation is out digitally today and will be available in physical formats via Dark Operative Digital soon.
Here's what you'll be getting from Opening Fire: 2008-2014.
The release documents the self-titled 7”, "This World" (from The Extermination Vol: 2 LP compilation on Flatspot Records), "Hammer of Doubt" (2010 version from America’s Hardcore LP compilation on Triple B Records), and the entirety of The Armageddon Blues Sessions. All tracks have been lovingly remastered by the band’s longtime producer Arthur Rizk with the release being rounded out by stunning artwork from Portland illustrator Matt Stikker.
The description leaves out the fact that the compilation also features "Divine Apprehension" and "Suffer No Fool" from the band's 2016 split with Integrity, but those are the two opening songs. Grab a copy digitally here.
