So Pestilence's upcoming album Hadeon has serious potential to be awesome. The debut single "Multi-Dimensional" was a speedy trip through the cosmos, and now "Hypnotic Terror" proves that the band is still plenty capable of producing a mid-paced crusher. Plus, the switches between time signatures and tempos really give the song an additional kick and call back to Pestilence's old school proggy roots.
Hadeon will be Pestilence's first new album in five years and is out on March 2.
