OutKast will release a digital 20th anniversary expanded version of their landmark album, Stankonia on October 30th. What's this doing on a metal site? Well, Rage Against the Machine's Zack de la Rocha is involved.
de la Rocha contributed a remix of one of their big hits, B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad), and it adds a nice rock and metal tinge. Apparently, this track was played on rock radio at the time, but I somehow missed it.
“Zack added an extra layer of grunge to a masterpiece,” OutKast’s Big Boi said of the remix in a statement. André 3000 added, “I’m a fan of the Rage sound so it was an honor to have them involved in a remix.”
