Mastodon vocalist and guitarist Brent Hinds is back with a brand new, extremely catchy West End Motel song. The sptly-named "New Wave Kid" is part rockabillity, part 80s new wave, and full-on earworm worthy of hitting the repeat button.
Hinds also offered some sage advice to listeners of the song – "Life can suck or life can be awesome, it's a choice, it's a state of mind. Choose awesome." Hell yeah.
